Please be advised the cost for this workshop is $125.00. This workshop will run from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm, with doors opening for registration starting at 8:30 am.
The course starts by building on a solid foundation, defining Private Sewage Disposal Systems, then moves into Time of Transfer Inspections, followed by Soil and Site Considerations, Dosing and Discharge and ending with Alternate and Advanced Treatment Systems.
This workshop is designed to provide onsite wastewater professionals an overview of the requirements in Chapter 69, "Private Sewage Disposal Systems". A brief discussion about state rules and county ordinances will be follow by section on definitions, site evaluations, septic tanks and soil absorption systems. Media filters including sand filters and other packaged media filters, as well as, aerobic treatment units will be discussed including maintenance and discharge sampling requirements. Onsite professional will gain a better understanding of the rules and rule interpretations regarding private sewage disposal systems.
