The Onsite Wastewater Training Center of Iowa was established to educate and train people involved in the construction, operation and management of onsite wastewater treatment systems.
To protect and enhance the ground and surface water resources of Iowa by providing current information and training by technical experts on onsite wastewater management systems.

Craig Hennager, the Water Environmental Technology (WET) Training Coordinator, coordinates the Onsite Wastewater Training Center of Iowa which provides onsite training for county environmental health specialists, septic system installers, Time of Transfer Inspectors, pumpers and design professionals. Craig has a B.A. in Business Management, a Grade III in Wastewater Treatment, Grade II in Water Treatment and a Grade II in Distribution Systems.



Caylene Hollinrake is the Administrative Assistant for the Onsite Wastewater Training Center of Iowa. She assists individuals in getting registered for the workshop, coordinates the website and social media, and processes course materials. Caylene has a B.A. in Business Administration.
