Onsite Wastewater Workshops

The Onsite Wastewater Training Center of Iowa workshop offerings are listed below. The one-day workshops are designed for professionals working in the field of onsite wastewater treatment, dispersal, and maintenance. The workshops are structured to meet the needs of installation contractors, sanitarians, system designers, time of transfer inspectors, and others who work in this field.

These workshops qualify for Time of Transfer CEUs.

All workshops listed below are 6 CEUs (other than the Time of Transfer Inspector Training).

These workshops may also qualify for other Onsite CEU requirements.

A $25.00 walk-in fee will be charged to an individual who is not registered to attend a workshop.

This fee will need to be paid at check-in with the cost of the workshop.

The workshop provides a basic understanding of the functional characteristics of conventional septic systems and alternatives that are commonly used in Iowa. This course is a prerequisite for the Time of Transfer Certified Inspector Program, for those with less than two years of experience.
